Imports under HS 8471 and 8473 reached $157.6 billion in May–July 2026, 91% more than a year earlier. Mexico supplied a record 43.7% of the machines, which paid 0.01% in duty.

July alone brought in $325.6 billion, 12% more than a year earlier and the most for any month since March 2025. All eight of the largest contributors paid a lower effective duty rate than a year before.
